The Bath Museum of Costume has a large collection of headwear across the centuries ranging from embroidered nightcaps of the 17th Century through to hat designs of the 20th Century.

The Fashion Research Centre is an extension of the Museum which provides study and research facilities for students and members of the public.

At the Museum of London you can find hats dating from the Tudor period to the present day and much other subject matter relating to hats.
